I think this is what we’re all writing about anyway. There are many reasons to go to the mountains, but anybody who says falling in love isn’t one of them is lying.

Lovely as always. Thanks for sharing.

"That call rang with just one bar of coverage, that voice I could not help but love came on the line with an invitation I could not refuse."

Beautiful. You don't need an editor 🤍

Such a beautiful meeting of souls. I love that you were able to help this young man choose love. It’s so important!

YES Love is forward. Do not fall into the would of, could have, should of wallow. Break trail and climb unprotected. If you fall it is better to have climbed and loved. The more roped on the better the climb. But then you know, oops.

Lovely. Loved the dodecahedron reference. How old do you reckon he was? TBH, doesn’t quite fit my own personal narrative or philosophy, but I thought the essay was wonderful and absolutely lovely.

He was 30 years old, but looked 22. His "youth" is probably me and how I see people now. Yes, I realized this wouldn't match everyone's life experience, but I thought I'd toss it out there in case someone needed to hear it right now. Thanks for reading. 🙏😊

What a stunning bit of writing. I loved the bit about the therapist, so thoughtfully worded.
