Your work always leaves me feeling buoyant when I read it. Thanks for gathering so many positive headlines in one place. It offsets the frustration and fear of the rest of the news. Also, I’m so stoked to hear about the A’lala beating on Haleakala. Yay!!

The lives of bearded vultures and the orchid preservation work are fascinating. Though I'm in the States, I've been following an osprey pair in Loch Arkaig of the Scottish Highlands since 2017. They film two nests, one currently active with chicks. Remarkable to see how the birds share the care of the young. Extraordinary birds. I'm an orchid grower, too!

Thank you, so good to see solutions and positive outcomes among all the bad news each day!

I was lucky enough to see a bearded vulture in France a few years ago - breathtaking birds. Absolutely huge, and flying at such awesome heights.
